We are seeking a passionate and versatile Dance and Music Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching dance and music to students of various age groups and skill levels, developing their talents, and promoting a love for the performing arts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive dance and music lesson plans.
• Teach a variety of dance styles (e.g., classical, contemporary, hip-hop) and musical genres (e.g., classical, modern, folk).
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
• Organize and direct school performances, recitals, and other events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate dance and music into interdisciplinary projects and activities.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and progress.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in dance and music education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree id fine arts in Dance.
• Professional training and certification in dance and/or music.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an educational setting.
• Proficiency in various dance styles and musical instruments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and culturally relevant lesson plans.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
