We are seeking a passionate and creative Art and Craft Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching art and craft to students of various age groups, developing their artistic abilities, and fostering a love for the arts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and innovative art and craft lesson plans.
- Teach various art techniques and craft skills, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Organize and direct school art exhibitions, craft fairs, and other events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art and craft into interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and progress.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in art and craft education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Fine Arts + Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
- Professional training and certification in art and craft education.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an educational setting.
- Proficiency in various art techniques and craft skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and culturally relevant lesson plans.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
