Job Description

As an Industrial Mobile Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and reliability of refrigeration systems and associated components. Your primary responsibility will be to provide on-site service and maintenance to our valued customers in the specified regions. Here are the key aspects of your role:

  1. Service and Maintenance:
    • Repair and Fault Resolution: Diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration systems, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.
    • Scheduled Servicing: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, cleaning, and component replacements.
    • Preventative Maintenance Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to prevent system failures and optimize performance.
    • User Manuals: Update and maintain user manuals for the equipment you service.
  2. Technical Expertise:
    • Refrigeration Systems: Apply your experience in servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting refrigeration systems and associated components.
    • Industry Best Practices: Work according to industry standards and best practices to ensure safety and efficiency.
  3. Installation and Commissioning:
    • New Installations: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new refrigeration systems.
    • Training: Provide first-line training to customers on system operation and maintenance.
  4. Fault-Finding and Problem-Solving:
    • Analytical Skills: Utilize your ability to fault-find and troubleshoot both new and existing installations.
    • Resourcefulness: Address technical challenges effectively, whether working independently or as part of a team.
  5. Communication and Collaboration:
    • Colleagues and Customers: Maintain excellent communication with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
    • Professionalism: Represent our company with professionalism and courtesy.
  6. Qualifications and Skills:
    • Education: An associate’s degree in engineering or a related field (a bachelor’s/ Master’s degree is preferred).
    • Certifications: Possession of refrigerant handling certification and ammonia safe handling training.
    • Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
    • Work Ethic: Demonstrated work ethic, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle multiple requests and remain professional under pressure.
  7. Location and Compensation:
    • Location: United Kingdom (specifically Midlands & South East England / Home Counties).
    • Salary Range: Annual income ranging from £35,000 to £75,000 GBP.
    • Visa and assistance : Will be provided for the best candidate.
