We are seeking a dedicated and caring Pre-Primary Assistant Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the lead teacher in delivering a high-quality early childhood education program, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the CBSE curriculum.
- Support the lead teacher in conducting classroom activities, including storytelling, art, music, and play-based learning.
- Monitor and supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist with classroom management and maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Provide individual attention to children to support their emotional, social, and academic development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress and any concerns.
- Help organize and participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline + Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Nursery Teacher Training
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and early childhood education principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other staff members.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
